Requirements

Applicants must display competency in the core functions of the post. Be a citizen of the Republic of South Africa, of which documentary proof must be furnished. Must be in possession of Grade 12/ Senior Certificate/ NCV Level 4/ NQF Level 4 or equivalent appropriate qualification as recognized by SAQA. Relevant courses in the field of the post will serve as an added advantage. General computer literacy skills. Demonstrate competency in acting independently, professionally, accountable and with credibility. Good verbal and written communication skills. Sound planning, organizing, administrative and problem – solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Customer focus and responsiveness. Be willing to work under pressure and extended hours.

Duties

Update employee’s files. Closely liaise with the head office on information of personnel matters. Assist employees with filling in pension and medical aid forms. Maintain effective flow of documents and safe keeping of records. Receive PDMS documents and send them to the head office. Facilitate and provide administrative support for the implementation of conditions of service and service benefits (Leave, Housing, Medical S & T, Injury on duty, Long service recognition, overtime, relocation, pension, allowances and termination of service).
