Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competences that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. Experience: Appropriate experience in LOGIS and the Electronic Procurement System EPS. Appropriate experience in ESL & contracts. Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to rotate within Supply Chain Management Department and relieve colleagues when needed. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Appropriate knowledge of the Accounting Officer’s System and SCM Delegations of the Department. Appropriate knowledge of Western Cape Supplier Database & Centralized Supplier Database. Computer literacy (Windows/Word/Excel and Outlook & Share point). Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Duties
Demand and Acquisition of Goods and Services - Perform ESL buy-out requests, advertising quotations on EPS, preparing quotations for Quotation Committee & Adjudication accordingly. Record Keeping, all relevant SCM and procurement documentation. Ensure Audit Compliance, all SCM and internal procurement policies. Reporting to Supervisor and relief duties (Support to Supervisor and the broader SCM and Finance team).
