Requirements
A Senior Certificate/ National Certificate (Vocational) NQF level 4. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required: Basic understanding of NaTIS transaction environments. Basic understanding of the National Road Traffic Act (NRTA) and its regulations. Knowledge of clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data and collect statistics. Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service. Knowledge of working procedures in terms of the working environment. Knowledge of Labour Relations. Computer Literacy (Excel, Word and Outlook). Planning and organisation skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Language skills. Interpersonal relations skills. Flexibility skills. Teamwork skills. The ideal candidate must be honest, reliable, trustworthy and loyal. He/she must have the ability to accept responsibility, have the ability to work under pressure, produce quality work, have the ability to maintain confidentiality and have job knowledge.
Duties
Provide general administrative support. Maintain task management system in respect of the applications received. Process high sensitivity NaTIS 121 transactions in compliance with regulatory and system requirements. Co-ordinate travel arrangements including flight arrangements, accommodation and hire of vehicles.
