Standard 10/ Grade 12.3-5 years’ experience in patient administration component. NB: Valid driver’s license Code 8/10.Certificate in Record Management. Knowledge, Skill, Training and Competencies Required: Extensive knowledge and experience in patient administration procedures. Sound knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury instruction, UPFS and handling of money. Supervisory and leadership skills. Organizing, planning and problem-solving skills. Interpersonal skills. Computer literacy.
Duties
Conduct employee’s performance review and compile report. Supervise staff and ensure proper implementation of EPMDS. Ensure implementation of UPFS through proper assessment of patient. Develop implement and maintain patient administration systems and services for the CHC/Hospital to ensure quality standards are met. Assist with the collection and verification of patient related information /statistics and the development of reports in support of accurate and timeous management reporting processes. Supervise and control the safekeeping of patient records and patient valuable. Develop, implement and monitor measures designated to optimize the collection of revenue. Ensure preparation and submission of financial reports/returns on monthly basis and perform month end /year and process. Develop, implement, monitor and review risk management plans. Participate in service delivery program. Develop, implement and monitor measures aimed at reducing waiting time. Implement discipline and guidance. Ensure effective efficient and economical utilization of resources allocated to the component including the development of staff.
