An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6. 3 years’ experience below Middle management (Assistant Director)/ Middle management level. Broad knowledge and understanding of the functional areas covered by the executive authority’s portfolio. Proven management competencies. Working knowledge of the political and parliamentary processes in South Africa. Computer literacy.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to Co-ordinate all reporting and documentation supports the collection and review of events in the portfolio and produce all reporting requirements identified by the Stakeholders, Executive Sponsors, and Executive Management and Manage the administrative activities within the office. Produce reports used to drive project status and portfolio review meetings and manage the administrative activities within the office of the executive authority. Collect project information, applying tools, and coordinating the day-to-day steps of the portfolio management process and liaise with internal and external role players with regard to matters relating to the portfolio of the executive authority. Facilitate events/program/portfolio review of key projects/programs and Render a Cabinet/executive council support service to the executive authority. Work with project and program managers on compliance, templates and best practices and implements and maintains the necessary controls and procedures to cost effectively protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction. Provide protocols services to the Executive Authority (EA). Supervise employees.
