An appropriate NQF level 7 qualification in the field of Development Studies/Social Sciences as recognised by SAQA Plus 5 years’ experience at middle/senior management in the relevant field. Knowledge of the Constitution of South Africa. Knowledge of the relevant Public Service Act and Regulation. Knowledge and understanding of White Paper on Social Welfare. Knowledge and understanding of Anti-Poverty Strategy. Knowledge of the Public Service Legislative frameworks. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations. Duties
Manage the development, review, and monitor the implementation of policies, frameworks, guidelines related to youth development. Develop and implement programmes and interventions for youth development. Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder participation, partnerships, and the integration of youth development programmes. Manage and report on the budget, human resources, and performance of the Directorate in line with the set regulations and prescripts.
