Requirements

An undergraduate qualification in Archives Records Management/ Public Management/ Public Administration/ Information Science at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA. No experience required. Never participated in any internship programme (for both public and private sector). Knowledge: National Archives and Records Service of South Africa Act. Promotion of the Access to Information Act (PAIA). Public Service Regulations (PSR). Public Service Act (PSA). Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Skills: Record Management. Financial Management. Analytical. Problem Solving. Presentation. Planning and Organizing. Communication (Verbal and Written). Computer Literacy. Report Writing.

Duties

Provide support in the implementation of record-keeping systems and control mechanisms. Provide support in the implementation of records management systems (the provision of storage and custody of records). Implement the disposal of records in accordance with National Archives and Records Services of South Africa Act.
