Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) / Grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate experience in laundry services. Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to do manual labour (heavy linen bags) and assist in other departments when required. Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and overtime. Able to handle heavily soiled linen containing human excretions and blood. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills. Ability to accept accountability and responsibility and to work independently and unsupervised. Knowledge of Laundry Services.
Duties
Monitor of contracted Hospital Linen Supervisor Provider. Monitor of Hospital Linen. Supervise hygiene, occupational health and safety. Supervise the maintenance and control of apparatus and equipment. Management and administrative function.
