Grade 10 or equivalent qualification plus a completed apprenticeship. Trade Test Certificate in Mechanized Bookbinding, Craft Bookbinding or Packaging. Grade 12 and computer literacy will be an added advantage. Must be able to obtain a positive security clearance. No experience required. Experience in the printing industry will be an added advantage. A valid driver's license will be an added advantage.
Duties
Set up, operate and manage production equipment’s such as cutting, folding, binding, packaging and other production activities at finishing operations of commercial printing (stationery) and security printing (examination) in accordance with GPW procedures, customer specifications and production schedules. Monitor production performance, optimise processes, reduce waste and support the achievement of production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
