Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) as recognised by SAQA in Human Resources Management / Training & Development/Management of Training. 4 years’ functional experience in Skills Development of which 2 years at a supervisory level. Knowledge: Performance Management Methodology, Principles and Strategies. Digital Acumen/ Relevant HRM systems / Learning Systems / Performance Systems etc. Del and Compensation Fund business strategies and goals. Customer Strategic Framework. White paper on the transformation of the Public Service, 1995. White paper on Public Service Education and Training, 1997. Legislative Requirement: Skills Development Act. Skills: Data Gathering, Analysis. Data/Record Management. Research and Benchmarking. Coaching and Mentoring. Conflict Management. Critical and innovative Thinking. Inspire Commitment. Duties
Coordinate the submission of the identified training needs from the various Chief/Directorate’s training needs and the implementation of the Workplace Skills plan (WSP) for the Compensation Fund. Implement training interventions, PDPs, Bursaries, and learning and skills development in the Compensation Fund. Coordinate the Developmental Programme of the Compensation Fund. Coordinate and implement both Compulsory Induction Programme (CIP) and Departmental Orientation as per approved plan in the Compensation Fund. Manage the resources of the Sub-directorate.
