Requirements

Grade 12 plus a an appropriate recognised (NQF 6) National Diploma / Degree qualification in Information Studies / Management / Public management / Administration or equivalent appropriate tertiary qualification as recognized by SAQA. Successful completion of PERSAL administration. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in information and knowledge management and library. A valid driver’s licence (with exception of people with disabilities). Knowledge, Competencies, And Skills: Sound and in-depth knowledge of relevant prescripts and applications of information and knowledge management as well as understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service. Thorough understanding of policy analysis.

Duties

Facilitate implementation of information and knowledge services. Facilitate the management of information repository. Integrate departmental information. Render library services. Supervise subordinates and utilise resources (human and physical) in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
