An NQF level 06 qualification in Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering. Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Candidate Engineering Technician and a valid driver’s licence. Experience: No experience required. Knowledge: Knowledge Of legal compliance, engineering norms and standards, technical design and analysis, computer-aided engineering applications. Skills: TECHNICAL: project management, technical design and analysis knowledge, research and development, computer-aided engineering applications, legal compliance, technical report writing. GENERIC: Problem solving and analysis, decision making, teamwork, creativity, self-management, customer focus and responsiveness, communication, computer skills, planning and organizing, change management.
Duties
Render technical services to the District. Provide technical assistance in the implementation of projects. Provide technical advice and guidance. Research and development. Perform administrative and related functions.
