The ideal candidate must be in possession of a National Diploma/ NQF Level 6 qualification in Human Resource Management/Development/Skills Development as recognised by SAQA coupled with at least 1-2 years of experience in an HRM&D environment, experience in Bursaries will be an added advantage and a valid Drivers Licence. Essential Knowledge, Skills And Competencies Required: The successful candidate must have:- Sound knowledge and understanding of Policies, Legislation and Prescripts pertaining to the Human Resource Development field; Public Service Education and Training Strategies; Education and Training Structures; Financial Management; Practical demonstration of knowledge in the Human Resource Development field; Finance; Project Management; Planning; Decision Making; Problem Solving; Conflict Management; Staff Development; Diversity Management; Presentation Skills; Customer Orientation; Good communication skills (verbal & written) with other Government Institutions, Private Sector, NGOs and Departmental Officials; Good computer literacy in MS Office. Candidates must be able and willing to drive.
Duties
The successful candidate will be required to coordinate bursaries and study assistance programmes with the following responsibilities: Administer State Aided Studies/Bursaries for the department; Provide for the administration of bursary matters; Develop, implement and maintain bursary/study assistance programme policies; Administer bursary/study assistance programme payments.
