Requirements

National Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate/Grade 12 with a three-year degree/National Diploma (NQF 6) as recognised by SAQA in Anthropology/ Marketing/ History/ Museology / Museum Studies/ Archaeology/ Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Be a South African citizen. Must have no criminal record. Applicants must be unemployed and never participated in an internship programme previously. Passion for heritage, culture, history, and museum work. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy.

Duties

Museum collections management and documentation. Research and exhibition development. Public education and outreach programmes. Marketing and social media management. Visitor services and guided tours. Heritage preservation and community engagement activities. Administrative support and reporting.
