Senior Certificate plus, recognized Diploma (NQF 6) in Labour Law/ Labour Relations or equivalent qualification as recognised by SAQA. No experience is required. Knowledge and Skills: Labour Relations Legislation. Processes of labour relation matters. Computer literacy, good communication skills, facilitation skills, conflict resolution skills, analytical skills, presentation skills, negotiation skills, organising skills and interpersonal relationship skills. Knowledge of the Public Service Processes of the CCMA, PSCBC and GPSSBC.
Duties
Preliminary investigate misconduct cases, grievances and disputes. Report on outcome of preliminary investigations of labour relation matters. Implement misconduct procedures. Implement grievance procedures. Implement dispute procedures. Advise on disciplinary procedures. Advise on grievance procedures. Advise on dispute procedures. Update labour relation information on the system. Report progress on a monthly basis. Maintain the disciplinary filing system. Report on strike actions. Compile and distribute the agenda to the relevant members. Distribute the minutes of the previous meeting. Draft minutes of the meeting in line with discussions and decisions.
