Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Experience: Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Will be required to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Must be prepared to assist in all departments according to operational needs. Must be willing and able to assist at other facilities within the Southern and Western Sub-Structure. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of nursing care and procedures, nursing statutes, and other relevant legal frameworks. Must have good communication skills. Interpersonal skills.
Duties
Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). To provide elementary clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Maintain professional growth/ ethical standards and self-development.
