Requirements

Relevant Degree/National Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Public Administration/Management. 3-5 years relevant experience in human resource environment. Computer literate. Valid driver’s licence. Competencies And Attributes: Knowledge of relevant legislations. Knowledge of relevant legislations. Ability to analyse PERSAL reports. Conflict resolution, report writing, problem solving and decision making, team leadership, policy interpretation, confidentiality, integrity and honesty, time management, assertiveness, ability to network, service delivery and client orientation, friendly and adaptability, ability to work under pressure, willingness to travel.

Duties

Provide management support of HR appointment process within DCS. Assist in the development and monitoring of policies on appointments. Checking of source documents for appointment processes. Issuing of appointment letters according to the approval, act of appointment and Occupation Specific Dispensation (OSD). Managing of contract appointments. Administration of monthly Annual Performance Plan (APP) and Annual Operation Plan (AOP). Compiling of appointment information annual report. Monitoring and evaluation of appointments, nationally. Compiling of memorandums and filing. Management of performance information, human resources, finance and assets.
