Requirements
A National Senior Certificate Plus a 4-year degree/ NQF Level 8 or equivalent qualification in Natural Sciences/ Environmental Management/ Nature Conservation /Environmental Law and or related. No Experience as per OSD requirements however 1-2 years’ experience will be an added advantage. The following skills, knowledge and attributes are required: National Environmental Management Act, Public Service Regulations, Public Service Act, NEMBA, Computer literacy and skills; Good writing and communication skills.
Duties
Provide specialised production environmental impact management services. Provide technical support with the assessment of environmental impact application in instances where DEDEAT is not the competent authority. Provide technical support to analyse, evaluate and monitor the status of the environmental impact management practices within the province. Perform and manage administrative and related functions
