Requirements
National Diploma (NQF 6) or any relevant qualification. Experience: Experience in LOGIS system and Supply Chain Management. Appropriate experience in Supervisory. Appropriate experience in Contract Management. Inherent requirement for job: A valid (Code B/EB drivers licence. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of Logis and BAS system. Knowledge and exposure to the Public Financial Management (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations and SCM Instructions. Computer Literacy (MS Office: Word, Excell, Outlook).
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing quotations for goods and services from suppliers listed on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD). Ensuring that the quotation processes are compliant, standard bidding documents are compiled in accordance with the department policies, procedures and all applicable legislative requirements. Rendering guidance in writing of specification. Rendering secretariat support services to Bid Specification Committee (BSC) and Quotation Evaluation Committee. Compiling submissions for deviations requests and compile reports. Managing LOGIS transactions such as processing of requisition, authorisation and procurement advice and authorise payments. Providing supervision and guidance to subordinates. Monitoring and evaluating performance of subordinates and performing other duties a delegated by managers.
