Requirements

Basic education (literacy and numeracy - ABET level 2) or equivalent appropriate qualification as recognised by SAQA. A valid driver’s License Code EC1 with PDP (with exception of people with disabilities). A minimum of 1 Year appropriate experience. Knowledge, Competencies, And Skills: Knowledge of Agricultural Equipment. Ability to Operate the Tractor. Basic diesel mechanic skills. Water/Diesel Engine maintenance skills. Knowledge of various types of farm equipment. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles. Discing, planting, and harvesting of crop fields. Driving skills.

Duties

Operate a tractor with various implements (such as ploughs, Rippers, planters, crop sprayers etc.) attached to assist with the physical execution of various general farming activities. Perform vehicle maintenance and administrative support activities. Operate a specialised machinery (such as harvesters, drilling equipment, excavators etc.).
