Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’S) of the post. Experience: Appropriate experience in financial and expenditure management. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Sound Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Accounting Officer’s System of the Department of Health. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook).

Duties

Compile, verify and process payments on the BAS and LOGIS systems, and reconcile supplier statements. Control, verify, capture journals and report on Asset and Liability accounts including clearance of Asset and Liability Accounts. Handling revenue and petty cash administration. Assist in compilation of IFS and AFS, leases and 30-day payment reporting. Support to supervisor.
