Requirements

A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in in Public Management/Management Assistant/Social Sciences/Management Assistant or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA). A minimum of Two (2) experiences as Management assistant / Secretary / Administrator / related field Valid Driver’s Licence (Except for people with disabilities). Core And Process Competencies: Strategic Capability and Leadership, People Management and Empowerment, Programme and Project Management, Financial Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Delivery Innovation, Problem Solving and Analysis, Client Orientation and Customer Focus, Communication. Knowledge And Skills: Batho Pele Principles, Knowledge of Office administration, Knowledge of Microsoft package, Communication, Planning, Time management, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, Report writing, Monitoring and Evaluation skills, Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, Advanced Computer literacy, Sound and in-depth knowledge of relevant prescripts and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service i.e. Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, Labour Relations Act, Public Finance Management Act.

Duties

Provide a secretarial/receptionist support service to the Director/Chief Director. Render administrative support services. Arrange Travel, Accommodation, Catering services for the Chief Directorate. Receive and Consolidate/Compile specific manuals that will contribute towards improving the smooth running of the office. Coordinate and compile necessary documents for the office of the Chief Director.
